I’m Avery. A dedicated illustrator who believes representation is a seed, when a child sees themselves in a story, their confidence grows. To me, African American illustration isn't just about art, it is about honouring our culture, textures, and skin with the dignity they deserve.
My journey started when I searched for books that looked like my family and found so many missing faces. I chose to be a bridge, mastering authentic 4C hair and rich skin tones. Whether you need vibrant 2D art or cinematic 3D, I create mirrors for children to see their magic.
