Most of the time children in school try to memorize programming rather understanding it. Proper understanding of logic from the beginning is very useful in advance studies. Remember programming totally depends on logic and not governed by any formula. After 10 years of teaching I finally developed the step by step procedure of learning those basics which will gradually develop your logic and one point of time you can solve programs like anything.Remember if you learn once it will pay you rest of the life.
