Hi, I'm Aashka, a fiction copyeditor and proofreader for self-published and indie authors.

What I offer:

  • Proofreading: typos, punctuation, and formatting fixes.
  • Copyediting: grammar, dialogue mechanics, and consistency (names, spelling, timeline).
  • Copyediting + Light Line Edit: everything above, plus tightening wordy sentences and weak phrasing (light polish, not a full rewrite).

What's included on every project:

  • Edits delivered via Word's Track Changes; see exactly what changed and why.
  • A custom style sheet logging every spelling and consistency decision.

A few honest notes:

  • My rates are honest, and my communication is straightforward.
  • Anything needing your input gets flagged directly, not silently changed.
  • Packages are best suited for short stories or excerpts up to about 5,000 words.
  • For a full manuscript. Message me your total word count, and I'll send a custom quote.
  • Orders using the extra word add-on may need a slightly longer delivery time. I'll confirm this with you before the order starts.
