However, game design docs written by multiple people often suffer. One person might be a good programmer but not a good writer. Maybe your artist wants to use Tachoma and your designer wants to use Times New Roman. Who knows!
Games are complicated, I get that. I'm here to help sort through all the little details and bring it together in one big picture.
My goal is to serve as a zero stakes perspective on the feature. I want the details clear for everyone involved so they can then decide how to make the best game possible.
My documents should serve to answer any member of your team's question about that feature. Artist wants to know what mood this map was supposed to have, programmer wants to know what function is responsible for firing that gun, designer wants to know what the strength requirement for that sword is, sound designer needs a list of foley for that trap. It should all be there.

Do you need access to our assets?
Yes. The only way for me to work without asking eight million questions is to be able to answer those questions myself. For this reason I'm only working in UDK, UE4, and Unity.
