Ik kan elke API of gegevensbron verbinden met Power Apps of Power Automate voor gebruik in je workflows, Office365 & SharePoint met een Custom Connector.
Een custom connector maakt het mogelijk om te koppelen met een applicatie via een API en de data van die app te gebruiken in Power Automate of Power Apps, en te delen via workflows met je Office365-tools zoals Excel, SharePoint-lijsten en -bibliotheken.
Ik ben een gecertificeerde ontwikkelaar met meer dan 20 jaar ervaring in Microsoft SharePoint-automatiseringsprojecten. Sinds de lancering in 2016 ben ik een Microsoft Power Platform Developer.
Stel je voor dat je kunt verbinden met Xero en een lijst krijgt van al je facturen, zodat je een Excel-werkmap kunt maken en deze naar je sales team kunt sturen voor opvolging. Of verkoopgeschiedenis uit je CRM halen om te analyseren in Excel of PowerBI.

Wat is een Standard Connector?
Voor de meeste standaard, goed gedocumenteerde APIs ontwikkel ik een standaard custom connector die je kunt installeren en gebruiken zoals elke andere verbinding en actie in Power Automate en Power Apps. Een standaard connector heeft meestal minder dan 3 acties die aan de connector gekoppeld zijn.
Wat is een Premium Connector?
De API vereist mogelijk meer beveiligde autorisatie, of er zijn veel endpoints/aanroepen nodig, of een niet-standaard verbindingsflow is vereist. Dit kan inhouden dat je de connector op de Microsoft-tenancy van de klant installeert of gedetailleerde instructies en gebruikersnotities verstrekt.
Kun je echt verbinden met elke gegevensbron?
Ja, kort gezegd. Complexere connectors vergen gewoon meer resources om te voltooien. Als je een complexe verbinding hebt, is het waarschijnlijk het beste om eerst een discovery gig te boeken zodat ik het in detail met je kan doornemen en een nauwkeurige, kostenraming kan maken.
