Do I need a Fabric capacity?
Yes, a trial or paid capacity (F2 and up, or Power BI Premium P1). I can advise on the size after I see your data volumes and refresh times.
Warehouse or Lakehouse - which do you build?
This gig is for the Fabric Warehouse, the SQL-first option with T-SQL procedures and full read/write SQL. If your team works mainly in notebooks, a Lakehouse may suit better and I will say so before you order.
Can you migrate from Azure Synapse dedicated SQL pools?
Yes, in the Migrate package. I convert distribution and index settings, change unsupported types such as datetime and money, and compare row counts and totals for every table.
Is Power BI included?
The Standard and Premium packages include a Direct Lake semantic model and a Power BI report. The Basic package delivers the warehouse ready for reporting.
Will you work in my tenant?
Yes. Everything is built in your Fabric workspace with a guest or member account you control, so you own all items from the start.
