Most IoT projects die between the demo and the part where it runs for a year without anyone touching it. That's the part I get hired for.
I build the whole chain, sensor to firmware to cloud to dashboard. Recent work inlcudes an HVAC efficiency platform on AWS with live ASHRAE math in Lambda, ESP32 trackers with LTE and GNSS, edge AI on Pi and Jetson.
I start from your problem, not the tech list. Sometimes the honest answer is you don't need half of it. Several of my clients are on their third or fourth project with me.
