I worked with Oasis Clinical Care Management & Consultation PLLC, located in North Carolina, where I served as a Medical and Mental Health Billing Specialist as well as a Credentialing Manager. In this role, I managed various aspects of the revenue cycle, ensuring that billing processes were handled efficiently and accurately. My responsibilities included submitting and managing medical and mental health claims, following up with insurance companies, resolving claim rejections and denials, and posting payments. I also worked closely with providers to ensure proper documentation and coding, helping the organization maintain compliance with insurance guidelines and maximize reimbursements. In addition to billing responsibilities, I handled provider credentialing and enrollment with various insurance companies. This involved submitting credentialing applications, maintaining provider records, and ensuring that providers remained properly enrolled with payers so services could be billed without interruption.
