Ik ontwerp en maak aangepaste Magic: The Gathering kaarten voor persoonlijk gebruik. Het uitgangspunt is altijd een directe relatie met de klant, waarbij ik de tijd neem om hun ideeën te begrijpen.


Ik verzorg zowel illustratie als grafische lay-out, zodat beeld en structuur gelijktijdig groeien en coherenter blijven met de visuele taal van Magic. Aan de illustratiekant werk ik aan compositie, focus en detail, zodat het artwork expressief is maar nog steeds duidelijk op kaartformaat. Aan de lay-outkant let ik op tekstplaatsing, hiërarchie en het algemene kader, en houd ik de structuur consistent met traditionele Magic-kaarten, zodat het eindresultaat uniek aanvoelt maar meteen leesbaar en vertrouwd is.


Alle kaarten (behalve tokens) worden gemaakt met het doel om gebruikt te worden in casual speelomgevingen.

I design and create custom Magic: The Gathering cards for personalized decks, gifts, events and online content. Each card grows from a direct relationship with the client: I listen to their ideas and the imagery they want to see translated into the game, and we build together the visual and narrative concept. I handle both illustration and graphic layout, keeping image composition, text placement and structure consistent with Magic, so every card is unique yet readable and familiar.
