How will I receive my substantive edits?
I'll use tracked changes to edit your Manuscript in a Microsoft Word document with comments. I'll also provide a 'clean' file without comments and an editorial report.
What's included in a developmental edit?
We'll focus on the big-pictures stuff, as well as providing an editorial report along with the tracked changes file and the 'clean' file without comments.
What's included in the package's aspect of a line & copy edit?
We'll focus on POV, removing redundancies, removing head hopping, improving sentence structure & flow, show not tell, grammar, clarity and narrative distance.
