The difference between vector and raster graphics is that raster graphics are composed of pixels e.g. PNG JPG GIF ... while Vector graphics are composed of paths e.g. AI EPS SVG ... Vectors are the best , perfectly scalable. There is no upper or lower limit for sizing vector graphics
