I will automate repetitive IT or data work with python

Over deze dienst
Tired of the same busywork every week? I build custom Python automation for repetitive IT and data work file cleanup, CSV/Excel transforms, simple reports, and API/file/DB-style workflows with clear setup notes so your team can run it again.
As a Data Security Strategist, I keep the scope tight and the handoff clear: fewer mistakes, less copy-paste, less only one person knows how this works.
You get:
- Custom Python scripts matched to one clear task or workflow
- Basic error handling and practical setup / ops notes
- A written scope before work starts
- Handoff so you can rerun it (scheduler notes on Standard+)
Packages
- Quick Script 1 script for one defined task
- Workflow Set 2-3 related scripts that work together
- Integration API / file / database-style workflow
How it works:
- You describe the repetitive task and share sample data (or access)
- We lock scope in writing
- I build, test, and deliver with short setup notes
Good fits: file sorting/renaming, spreadsheet cleanup, weekly number pulls, simple API file/email flows. Not a fit: vague automate everything, scraping-at-scale, or projects without sample data.

Veelgestelde vragen
What do I need to provide before you start?
A clear description of the repetitive task, what “done” looks like, and sample data (or safe access). Without sample data, I can’t build or test accurately.
What’s included in each package?
Quick Script = 1 script for one task + setup notes. Workflow Set = 2–3 related scripts + logging/scheduler notes. Integration = API/file/DB-style workflow + clearer ops notes. Full details are in the packages above.
Can you automate anything?
No. Best fit: clear rules, files/spreadsheets/APIs you can access, and a defined outcome. Not a fit: vague “automate everything,” judgment-heavy work, or projects with no sample data.
How many revisions do I get?
Quick Script: 1. Workflow/Integration: 2. Extra revisions are available as an add-on. Revisions mean fixing/adjusting what we agreed — not new features.
Is this web scraping?
This gig is Python automation for IT/data busywork. Light data pulls can be scoped under Integration if legal and allowed. Large-scale scraping is a different project — ask first.
What languages/tools do you use?
Python is the default. I’ll use what’s needed for your files, APIs, or database within the agreed scope.
