Music Teacher
Music School of Indonesia • Freelance
Jun 2024 - Present • 2 yrs 4 mos
I currently work at SMI (Sekolah Musik Indonesia) as a music teacher. I teach guitar and piano, and I also specialize as a digital music teacher. In my role, I help students develop their technical skills, musical understanding, and creativity across different levels and learning goals. As a digital music teacher, I guide students in music production, digital composition, and basic audio recording using modern music software. My teaching approach combines practical performance skills with music theory and creative exploration, allowing students to understand music both technically and artistically. This teaching experience has strengthened my ability to communicate musical ideas clearly, work with different skill levels, and deliver structured yet flexible learning methods. It also supports my work as a musician, composer, and music transcription specialist by ensuring accuracy, clarity, and professionalism in every project I handle.

I originally requested both rhythm guitar and a solo. The seller only delivered the rhythm guitar and promised to complete the solo. I placed another order as a goodwill gesture, but the seller demanded additional payment instead of honoring the agreement. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

Arfin delivered this project way earlier than the proposed deadline. I overlaid the music with the original song and found myself very impressed with the accuracy of his work. The price is fair and reasonable. Trust me, you won't be disappointed if you let Arfin work on your project.
