Embedded engineer in Barcelona. I take hardware from idea to working prototype: 4-layer PCB design in KiCad, bring-up, and C/C++ firmware on FreeRTOS for ARM Cortex-M. I built MOOVIA, my own IoT wearable presented at Barcelona Activa B-Step: SPI IMU driver, BLE GATT, Madgwick/Kalman fusion. Results: 999 Hz sampling, 0 packets lost in 20,670 samples, 0.03 m/s vs a commercial reference. I also build Python tools and web dashboards. MOOVIA is my own IoT wearable that measures barbell velocity in real time for strength training. Sole technical lead from concept to a working MVP tested with real users. Hardware: schematic and 4-layer PCB layout in KiCad, hand soldering, board bring-up and manufacturer coordination. MCU: Microchip WBZ351 (ARM Cortex-M4F, BLE 5.2). Firmware: C/C++ on FreeRTOS, IMU driver written from scratch over SPI (FIFO, burst reads), custom BLE GATT services, interrupts, timers and low-power modes. Signal processing: Madgwick quaternion fusion, 1D Kalman filter and ZUPT for mean propulsive velocity and displacement. Validated with oscilloscope, logic analyzer and Python test scripts against a commercial VBT sensor.
