Will you edit my statement?
No. This gig provides feedback only. You’ll receive detailed notes and recommendations on how to improve your essay, but I will not make direct changes to your text. If you’d like editing or proofreading, please see my other gig.
What kind of documents can I submit?
You can submit personal statements, admission essays, scholarship essays, statements of purpose, or other application-related writing. Please include the essay prompt and any word/length requirements.
How will I receive my feedback?
You will receive a Word document with my comments and recommendations. This will include in-text notes as well as an overall evaluation of strengths, weaknesses, and actionable suggestions.
Can you revise essays for any level of study?
Yes. I provide feedback for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral applications, as well as scholarships and fellowship essays.
Will you write parts of my essay for me?
No. My role is to guide you with professional insight so that you can strengthen your own writing and keep your authentic voice. For editing needs, please see my separate gig.
