I will build a custom rag ai chatbot and llm app on your documents

Over deze dienst
AI engineer and solution architect. I build RAG systems and LLM applications that survive contact with real data.
Most AI chatbots fail the same way: retrieval returns the wrong passage and the model confidently invents the rest. That is a systems problem, not a prompting problem, and it is where 15+ years of production engineering earns its keep. I have built AI agents running in production, and behind that enterprise SSO at 100,000+ users and country-scale geospatial platforms.
FULLY SELF-HOSTED IF YOU NEED IT
Open-weight models on your own hardware, your data never leaving your network. I have built air-gapped systems that run with no internet at all.
WHAT I BUILD
RAG over your documents, databases and APIs. Chunking and embedding strategy, vector search, reranking, answers grounded in citations, hallucination control and evaluation harnesses.
STACK
Python, LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, FastAPI, Node.js, React
OpenAI GPT, Claude, Gemini, or open-weight models you host yourself
PostgreSQL with pgvector, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
If plain search would solve it for a tenth of the cost, I will say so.
Tell me what your data is and what you need people to ask it.

Veelgestelde vragen
What is RAG, in one sentence?
Instead of hoping the model already knows your business, it searches your actual documents first and answers from what it found, with citations you can check.
Will it make things up?
That is the failure mode the whole build is designed against - grounding, citations, and an evaluation harness so you can measure it rather than hope. Nobody can honestly promise zero.
Which model do you use?
Whichever fits your accuracy, privacy and cost constraints. You get the trade-off, not a default.
Can it run on our own servers?
Yes. Open-weight models on your own hardware or inside your own network, so your data never leaves it. I have built systems that run fully air-gapped, with no internet at all.
Do I need this, or would search do?
Ask me. If plain search solves it I will say so; it is a much cheaper build and I would rather tell you now than at delivery.
Do you do fine-tuning?
Retrieval first - cheaper, faster to change, and usually what people actually need when they say fine-tuning. If it genuinely calls for tuning I will say so.
