I'm Tom, a professional bassist with 15+ years of playing experience and 10+ years in music transcription. I've transcribed over 5,000 songs across a wide range of styles.
Every transcription is created manually by ear, without AI or automatic transcription tools.
What you can expect:

What if I want to order more than one transcription?
Please send me the songs or links before ordering. I'll review their length and complexity and prepare a custom offer with a delivery estimate. A discount may be available for multiple transcriptions, depending on the project.
What software do you use?
I use Guitar Pro 8 to create bass tabs and standard notation. You'll receive Guitar Pro and PDF files, so you don't need the software to read your transcription. If you use an older version of Guitar Pro, please let me know before ordering.
Are your transcriptions accurate?
Yes! As a professional bassist, I transcribe by ear with close attention to notes, rhythms and articulation. I check each transcription against the recording. If any passages are difficult to hear clearly, I'll discuss them with you rather than promise accuracy the audio cannot support.
Will I receive tabs, standard notation, or both?
You can choose bass tabs, standard notation, or both on the same page. Let me know your preference when ordering. I deliver PDF and editable Guitar Pro files, so you can print your transcription or use it for practice in Guitar Pro.
Can you transcribe other instruments besides bass?
Yes! Bass is my specialty, but I also transcribe guitar, drums and other instruments on request. Please send me your recording and specify the parts you need before ordering, so I can confirm whether I can take on your project.
How long will it take to get my transcription?
Delivery usually takes 2–3 days, depending on the length and complexity of the music and my current workload. If you need it sooner, please message me before ordering. I'll confirm availability and agree on a delivery time with you.
Which package should I choose?
The right package depends on the length and complexity of the bass part. If you're unsure, send me your recording or link before ordering. I'll review it and recommend a package or prepare a custom offer for your project.
