Barbora Lou is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and Masaryk University in Brno, with a completed internship at the Sorbonne in Paris. She works as a lecturer at the National Gallery Prague. In her artistic practice, she focuses on oil and mixed-media painting. Her work blends a deep knowledge of traditional techniques with a fresh, brisk, and contemporary approach. She also delights in weaving playful motifs and lighthearted wit into her paintings. Her piece Reflection of the Forest is in the permanent collection of the National Museum of Agriculture.
