I am an independent author with several published novels and over 20 years writing experience. I will read your book manuscript and provide you with written notes and feedback, with the aim to improve your story.

Much more than a simple readthrough, you will receive detailed thoughts and suggestions on ways you can not only improve on the story, but also any recommended adjustments to style and pacing. You will also receive suggestions on adjustments for voice (passive vs. active), use of descriptive verbs vs. adjectives, and areas where you may need to cut from or add to the story.

Think of it it as an early beta read (or alpha read), with developmental edits.

And while this is not a full proofread, I will also mark up any grammatical, spelling or other errors as I come across them.
