Veelgestelde vragen
Are you certified in QuickBooks Online?
Yes. I'm a Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor and I work in QuickBooks Online every working day, on monthly books and on cleanups. Every file goes back to you checked against the bank statements, line by line.
What do you need to start my bookkeeping?
Accountant access to your QuickBooks Online, the bank and credit card statements for the months involved, and a line on what the business does. Not on QuickBooks yet? The statements are enough for me to start.
How do you price monthly bookkeeping and cleanups?
Monthly bookkeeping is priced on your monthly transaction count and number of accounts. A cleanup is priced on the months and transactions involved. Send me the statements or a QuickBooks report and I'll reply with a fixed quote and a delivery date.
Is my financial data safe with you?
Yes. You add me as an accountant user in QuickBooks Online, so no passwords are shared and you can remove my access at any time. Your statements are used for your books only and never shared, and I'll sign an NDA if you want one.
Can you clean up my QuickBooks before the monthly bookkeeping starts?
Yes, and it is the right order. I recategorize what's wrong, remove duplicates, post what's missing, correct opening balances and reconcile every bank and card account to its statement. Then the monthly bookkeeping starts from a clean file.
My books are behind for 2024 and 2025. Can you catch them up?
Yes, any year your statements cover. Bank feeds only reach back a few months, so earlier periods are rebuilt from the statements, reconciled month by month, and delivered with a profit and loss and balance sheet for each year.
How do you categorize my transactions correctly?
The vendor and the pattern settle most lines, and I build the chart of accounts around how your business runs. Anything unclear goes on one short list for you to answer, once. Nothing is guessed and nothing is dumped into Miscellaneous.
What do I get every month?
Every transaction categorized, every bank and card account reconciled to its statement, and a profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow sent to you by a fixed date each month. You can also subscribe to this gig monthly on Fiverr and save on the price.
Do you prepare or file my tax return?
I keep the books, not the filing. You get reconciled accounts and tax ready reports, which is exactly what your CPA or tax preparer files from. If you don't have one yet, I'll tell you what to hand over.
What if I find a mistake in the books?
Tell me and it's fixed at no charge. Corrections to my own work are unlimited, because the books have to be right, not just delivered.
