Over deze dienst
Looking for a fantasy beta reader who experiences your story the way your future readers will? You're in the right place.
Experience your story through the eyes of your first real reader.
I provide honest, immersive beta reading with genuine reactions, emotional insights, and an Explorer's Log® to help your world truly come alive.
- Where I smiled,
- Where I got confused,
- Where I couldn't stop reading,
- Where I wanted more and
- What stayed with me after finishing.
Every package includes your signature Explorer's Log; a beautifully organized report capturing the thoughts, emotions, questions, and discoveries of your manuscript's first real reader.
You'll also receive an annotated manuscript filled with my Live Reader Reactions, so you can experience your story exactly as I experienced it page by page.

Veelgestelde vragen
1. What is beta reading?
Beta reading lets you experience your story through the eyes of a real reader before publishing. I'll share honest reactions, emotional insights, and actionable feedback on your characters, worldbuilding, pacing, and overall reading experience.
2. Do you edit grammar or spelling?
No. This is a beta reading service, not proofreading or copyediting. If I notice recurring grammar or formatting issues that affect readability, I'll mention them, but I won't perform line-by-line editing.
3. What genres do you accept?
Most of the fantasy genres work. Epic fantasy, cozy fantasy, romantasy, fairy tales, YA fantasy, dark fantasy, magical realism or something new to me.
4. What is the Explorer's Log?
The Explorer's Log is my signature reader report. It captures my journey through your story with first impressions, emotional reactions, favorite moments, confusing scenes, character insights, worldbuilding notes, and final recommendations.
5. Do you provide in-line comments?
Yes! As I read, I capture my live reactions directly in your manuscript using comments. You'll receive an annotated version of your document alongside your Explorer's Log, so you can see exactly what I was thinking at each moment.
6. Will my manuscript remain confidential?
Absolutely. Your manuscript is kept 100% confidential, never shared, distributed, or used for any purpose outside this project.
7. What file formats do you accept?
I work with any text file. You may send a .docx, Google Docs link or a pdf file.
8. Can I send only a few chapters?
Yes. The Call package is perfect for short stories, novellas, or opening chapters. You'll receive the same honest reader experience and an Explorer's Log to help you strengthen your story before completing the full manuscript.
9. Do you use AI to review manuscripts?
No. Every manuscript is personally read by me from beginning to end.
