When you select my gig as your proofreader and editor, you can expect the following:
- I will proofread and edit documents in English.
- Prompt replies and a finished product returned in just three days
- You will receive one file with tracked changes and another that is ready to use.
- I work with Word and Google Docs. If these are unavailable, please check with me before placing an order. I cannot work with PDF files.
- This is an exclusively proofreading and editing gig. I am unable to help with formatting.

Are you able to work with PDF files?
I am unable to work with PDF files. I work with Word (.docx) or Google docs for this gig. If this format is unsuitable for your needs, please check with me before placing an order to discuss the options.
Is English your first language?
Yes. I was born and raised in the midwest, attended college in Springfield, Missouri, and received my Master's Degree in Oklahoma City! I do not speak any other languages at this time.
Are you a writer?
Yes, I am. I currently write articles, emails, social media posts, educational outlines, sermons, and promotions for work. Additionally, I regularly contribute to a personal blog. I also offer services on Fiverr for writing as well.
Do you outsource your work to other editors?
I do not. I am passionate about providing a polished product for my clients!
What if my document is over the word limit for larger projects?
I am happy to proofread and edit larger projects. Don't hesitate to contact me before placing an order to discuss your needs. I would happily send you a custom offer based on your needs.
What format should I provide?
It is preferable to be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) files or Google docs.
Do you provide formatting services?
At this time, I do not. This is primarily a proofread and editing gig.
What do you edit?
I provide the service of correcting errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation. If you place an order for editing, I will improve awkward sentences for a natural flow of communication. I do light editing so that your writing will continue to reflect your voice and tone.
Do you offer rewriting?
Not at this time.
