As a Senior Product Design Engineer, I was responsible for leading the development of innovative consumer products from initial concept generation through engineering validation, prototyping, and manufacturing preparation. My role involved collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including industrial designers, mechanical engineers, manufacturing specialists, and product managers to create high-performance products that met technical, commercial, and user requirements. I conducted extensive product research, market analysis, and competitor benchmarking to identify opportunities for innovation and product improvement. Based on research findings, I developed concept sketches, design proposals, and engineering solutions that balanced functionality, manufacturability, aesthetics, and cost considerations. Throughout the development process, I utilized SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Blender to create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, technical drawings, and realistic visualizations for stakeholder reviews and production planning. A significant aspect of my role involved design for manufacturing (DFM), ensuring that products could be efficiently produced while maintaining quality standards and performance targets. I worked closely with suppliers and manufacturing teams to optimize components, reduce production complexity, and improve overall product reliability.
