Over deze dienst
I convert your Adobe Acrobat PDF into a fully editable Adobe InDesign file that your team can open, update, and print without rebuilding from scratch.
What your InDesign file includes:
- Exact layout recreation from your Acrobat PDF
- Paragraph and character styles set up for easy editing
- Master pages for consistent headers, footers, and page numbers
- Linked images and embedded graphics placed cleanly
- Print-ready CMYK color settings. Delivered as INDD + IDML + high-resolution PDF.
What I work on:
Company brochures and product catalogs. Magazine and newsletter layouts. Annual reports and whitepapers. Book interiors, manuals, and guides. Business proposals and multi-page sales documents.
Tools I use:
Adobe InDesign CC (latest version) and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. All work is done manually. No auto-conversion software. No cheap batch tools.
Before ordering:
If your PDF has complex tables, custom equations, scanned pages, or 20 or more pages, MESSAGE ME first. I will review your file and give you an accurate quote before you spend a cent.

Veelgestelde vragen
Can you convert any type of PDF to InDesign, including scanned documents?
PDFs require an extra OCR step to extract text, which adds complexity and time. If your PDF was scanned, message me before ordering and I will let you know what is possible and what the adjusted price would be.
What file formats will I receive after delivery?
You receive three files: the native INDD file (for InDesign CC), the IDML file (which opens in older InDesign versions and in software like Affinity Publisher), and a high-resolution PDF export confirming the output matches your original.
Will the layout match my original PDF exactly?
The goal is the closest possible match: same text blocks, same image placement, same spacing and proportions. Minor differences in font rendering or image resolution can occur depending on what is embedded in the original PDF.
What do I need to send to get started?
Your original Acrobat PDF file. If you have font files for any custom typefaces used in the document, include those too. If you want color profiles or print specs applied, mention them when you send the file. The more information you share upfront, the faster and more accurate the delivery.
What happens if the fonts in my PDF are not available or are embedded in a way I cannot extract?
This is one of the most common issues in PDF-to-InDesign conversion. When a font is not available, I source the closest match and flag it in the delivery notes so you know what was substituted. If you need the exact original font, you will need to purchase or provide the license.
My document has 50 or more pages. Can you handle large projects?
Yes, but large projects need a custom discussion first. The Premium package covers up to 40 pages. For anything beyond that, message me with your page count and a brief description of the document type. I will give you a project-specific quote with a realistic timeline.
Is this better than using an auto-conversion tool?
Auto-conversion tools produce broken files: missing images, misaligned text boxes, corrupted styles, and unusable master pages. My work is done manually in InDesign. You receive a file that is organized, editable, and ready for professional printing or further design work.
Can I use the InDesign file for commercial printing?
Yes. All files are delivered in CMYK color mode with 300 DPI resolution, suitable for professional print output. If you need specific bleed settings, color profiles, or print-ready PDF/X standards, mention that when you place your order so I can set up the file correctly from the start.
How do I know which package to order?
Count the number of pages in your PDF and match it to the package limit. If your document is under 5 pages, Basic covers it. Up to 15 pages, go with Standard. 40 pages or under, choose Premium. If your document has complex tables, charts, or heavy image work, message me first.
What happens after delivery if I find an issue?
Each package includes revisions. If the layout does not match the original PDF as expected, or a text block is misaligned, I fix it within the revision count. If the issue is something new that was not in the original brief, that falls outside the revision scope. I am clear about what counts.
