Human Design combines astrology, I Ching, Kabbalah and the Chakras, a synthesis of ancient and modern sciences; a system all in one. Human Design was originated by Alan Robert Krakower who published a book called The Human Design System under the pseudonym Ra Uru Hu in 1992. Krakower developed the Human Design system following a mystical experience in 1987. Human Design is said to be a self-help method which does not have any religious component. It has been called "the new astrology."

Human Design analysis are planets displayed in a type of horoscope called a bodygraph. The bodygraph shows the 64 hexagrams of the I Ching at various locations on the body. It is sometimes shown within a mandala, overlaid on the 12 signs of the zodiac. Human Design also addresses how to consistently make the right choices in your life. It is a way of allowing your body's intelligence to guide you. Making decisions based on what is fixed and reliable in you as opposed to making decisions from your mind. The mind is always influenced by the outside conditioning and propaganda and doesn't reflect your uniqueness.
