Yes, I was born and raised in Germany.
Can you edit everything?
With the exception of Non-Fiction, I will edit almost all genres.
What can I expect from your work?
I'll read, proofread and where necessary, rewrite the translated novel. I'll take care that expressions are translated adequately, that there's a consistency with characters/names and that the content is overall readable, free of errors - and overall enjoyable for a German-speaking audience.
What else can I expect from your services?
Each book might be checked (proofread/edited) by two people (four-eyes principle) in order to obtain the best possible result.
Can you edit something with a higher word count?
Yes, but please contact me in any case beforehand, so we can talk about relevant details like the time frame and pricing.
Do you edit everything/every genre?
If someone says that he can translate everything - he/she deceives you! I cannot translate very specific texts or books with a lot of technical or scientific terms and poems. With the exception of Non-Fiction, I will read almost all genres.
Which genres have you worked with before?
I have experience with: Urban Fantasy, Romance, Sweet Romance, Steamy Romance, Mystery & Thriller. I have proofread/translated at least 5+ book series from authors from the US, Canada and the UK.
