The voice over will be used on YouTube, do I need to purchase Commercial Rights?
If the VO is promotional, yes. If you additionally plan on using the voice over specifically on YouTube ads or other paid internet marketing channels you will need to purchase the appropriate broadcast rights depending on your level of distribution (Local, Regional, National)
The voice over will be used on social media, do I need to purchase Commercial Rights?
If the VO is promotional, yes. If you additionally plan on using the voice over specifically on Instagram, Facebook ads, or any other paid internet marketing channels you will need to purchase the appropriate broadcast rights depending on your level of distribution (Local, Regional, National).
Podcast Intros/Outros, do I need to purchase Commercial Rights?
Yes
Do I need to purchase both Commercial and Broadcast Rights?
It depends. If you plan on using the voice over in both paid (i.e. TV, Radio, Social media ads, etc.) and unpaid marketing channels, then yes. Otherwise no.
Will you add music to the voice over?
I'm more than happy to sync in any music my clients provide, however I do not keep a library of royalty free music on hand as it is expensive. I recommend premiumbeat.com as an excellent resource for any royalty free music.
The voice over will be featured on my company website, do I need to purchase Commercial Rights?
Yes
Do you add sound effects to your recordings?
I do not provide any of my own, however if a buyer has a specific request and provides me with audio files, I'm happy to add them to the recording.
Do you send video files as part of your delivery?
No, I only provide audio files. If a buyer requests that I sync the voice over to an existing video, I will send a recording that is synced to that video, but it will only be the audio file.
The voice over will be used in a product demo/informational video and is not a broadcast advertisement, do I need purchase Commercial Rights?
Yes, if the intention of the script is to encourage prospective customers to understand the benefits of a good or service, then it is promotional and is subject to Commercial Rights.
Why aren't Commercial Rights already included in the base order?
Not all of my clients intend to use their recordings for commercial applications. Since this is my most visible gig on Fiverr, I try to accommodate as many price points as best I can.
