I will proofread your German text to make it look like it was written by a native speaker and say what you really want it to say. I do this old-school: manually and use AI tools exclusively for the final touches to correct overlooked things. This also allows me to tackle any linguistic bumps and potential "technical" corrections. Thanks to my wide-ranging interests and education, I have expertise in a variety of areas that I can and will incorporate into your text.
Proofreading means checking and correcting of:
- spelling
- sentence structure and syntax
- grammar and
- punctuation.

In which formats can I send the text?
Word and Pages preferably, because changes can be tracked. See also FAQ "How will you work" and "Do you correct InDesign-files?"
How will you work?
I use your provided Word or Pages file and turn on revision mode. This allows you to track changes made. If you provide a pdf file, I will convert it into a word file and do as described above.
Do you correct InDesign files?
Yes, I do, but only direct in InDesign. Therefore, my changes are not tracked and I do not take any responsibility for any changes to the layout.
What do you mean by 'proofreading'?
I will read your text and correct (1) spelling, (2) syntax, (3) grammatical, and (4) punctuation mistakes.
Can I provide my English text?
Yes, you can provide your English text ALONG with your German translation. Actually, I would highly appreciate it, since this makes the result better for you.
Do you translate the text too?
No, unfortunately, I do not offer translation services. Here at Fiverr you find a lot of very experienced translators who would definitely offer a way better job on translation than I can do. BUT, I would be happy to help you AFTER the translations and proofread your just translated text.

Ich habe Dietmar gebeten, den Text meiner Website zu überarbeiten und habe viele gute Ideen bekommen. Die habe ich dann meinem Stil angepasst übernommen. Das Ganze ging zügig und die Qualität war astrein. Immer gerne wieder. Der nächste Auftrag ist schon in Arbeit.
