Do I need to give you access to my website?
Not for the basic widget: you paste one script tag. If I deploy for you (Standard/Premium), I use a limited token or a temporary editor login you revoke after delivery. Everything runs in your own accounts and you own it all.
What API key do I need and what does it cost to run?
An Anthropic API key in your name (pay-as-you-go, no subscription). A typical small-business assistant on a fast Claude model costs a few dollars a month; hosting fits free tiers. I set spending limits and rate limiting so it cannot run away. I never keep your key.
Can it answer in other languages?
Yes. The assistant replies in the visitor's language by default (tested in English and Portuguese) and can be restricted to the languages you choose. Your knowledge sources can be in any language.
Where is it hosted and who owns the code?
In your own accounts: Cloudflare Workers or Vercel for the backend, your site for the widget. You receive the full source (Standard/Premium; extra on Basic) and a README, so any developer can maintain it. No lock-in to me.
