Job Description: Product Development Manager Position Product Development Manager** Department Research & Development (R&D) / Product Development Job Summary The Product Development Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and launching innovative nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, cosmeceutical, and wellness products. The role involves formulation development, raw material selection, regulatory compliance, project management, market research, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product commercialization. Key Responsibilities Product Development * Develop new product formulations based on market trends and customer requirements. * Improve and optimize existing products for quality, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness. * Select suitable active ingredients and excipients based on scientific evidence. * Prepare product concepts, formulations, and technical specifications. ### Research & Innovation * Conduct literature reviews and evaluate scientific evidence for ingredients. * Identify emerging ingredients, technologies, and health trends. * Benchmark competitor products and recommend new product opportunities. Regulatory & Documentation * Prepare Product Development Reports (PDRs) and technical dossiers. * Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and labeling guidelines. * Review product claims to ensure scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance. * Coordinate with regulatory affairs for product registrations and approvals. Manufacturing & Technology Transfer * Coordinate pilot batches and commercial production trials. * Troubleshoot formulation and manufacturing issues. * Work closely with production teams during scale-up and technology transfer. * Validate manufacturing processes and product specifications. Quality Assurance * Coordinate with QA/QC for raw material approval and finished product specifications
