Ive traveled my entire life, even before I was born. See, in August 1972, my mother was several months pregnant with me when she and my dad baby-mooned in Italy. Despite a terribly obstructed view at the time, I nonetheless developed an insatiable love of travel that has only grown as have I! over the past half-century. Today, I love inspiring others to travel.
For nearly three decades, Ive written for almost every type of medium as a journalist and communications pro: print, radio, TV, digital, social, and podcast. In 2007, I began chronicling my journeys in writing and travel photos. In 2014, I established my own world-travel-focused non-profit charity dedicated to animal welfare, and I frequently write about my work in that regard. In fact, I recently completed my first book, a 350-page travel memoir.
Ive taken hundreds of domestic and international trips, both for business and pleasure, and love to document them in words, pictures, and paintings (yes, Im an artist as well). As a result, when we work together, youll get my:

What types of travel stories are your specialty?
I’m particularly fond of features – long-form narratives that truly give readers a sense of place. Which means writing shorter pieces – essays, listicles, news items, blog posts, etc. – are no problem at all for me. I’ve written more than my share of them over the years.

Are you open to providing custom orders?
Absolutely! If you have a project that falls somewhat outside the scope of what you see offered here in this gig, please let me know and we can arrange a bespoke package just for you.
