I will provide proofreading and editing of children book as a reader and then again as a developmental editor. I use this process to make sure that correcting and perfecting the content doesn't take away from its creative base.
Flow management and story delivery are incredibly important to keep readers invested and interested so my version of editing is about maintaining the balance between tweaking language and holding true to the author's vision.
My deep line edits include in-text edits using track changes, focusing on dialogue, repetition and redundancies, character creation, description, and so much more. At the end of my edit, you will receive two copies of your manuscript - one with tracked changes, and one clean copy.

How will you record your edits?
I will use track changes feature in Microsoft Word to mark corrections and make comments. When you receive your edited document back, you will be able to see every single correction that was made and reject any changes that you don't want to keep.
Can you provide proofreading and editing in British accent?
Of course, I lived in England for 2 years! That won't be a problem
