Spearheaded a Lean Six Sigma project using the DMAIC framework to address high defect rates in stitching and dyeing departments. • Define & Measure: Mapped processes using SIPOC and analyzed 4 years of defect data, establishing a baseline DPMO of 66,810 (Sigma Level 3.0). • Analyze: Utilized Pareto Analysis and Cause-and-Effect diagrams to identify root causes, including operator skill gaps and machine calibration issues. • Improve & Control: Implemented corrective actions including standardized operator training and the 5S methodology, resulting in a 29% increase in Sigma Level (to 3.9) and a 49% reduction in the defect rate. • Key Tools: DMAIC, SIPOC, Pareto Charts, FMEA, 5S, Statistical Analysis, Root Cause Analysis.
