As a mechanical engineer I am responsible for designing, developing, building, and testing mechanical and thermal systems and devices. On a daily basis, they apply the principles of physics, mathematics, and material science to transform abstract ideas into functional, real-world products, ranging from tiny medical sensors to massive power plants and automated manufacturing lines.
