Worked on the design and deployment of an AI voice agent system for a service-based business struggling with missed calls, delayed responses, and inconsistent customer engagement outside working hours. The client’s goal was to ensure every inbound call was answered instantly, understood properly, and handled without depending fully on human agents. Their existing process was fully manual and limited by a small support team, which led to frequent missed opportunities, especially during peak hours. Follow-ups were inconsistent, and valuable leads were often lost due to response delays rather than lack of interest. I built an AI voice agent that could handle real-time conversations, detect caller intent, and respond in a natural, human-like way instead of using rigid scripts. The system was integrated with their CRM so every interaction was automatically logged, including intent, urgency, and next steps, removing manual data entry and improving accuracy. A key part of the solution was smart call routing, where high-intent leads were identified and escalated for immediate human follow-up, while general inquiries were handled directly by the AI. This reduced workload on the team while ensuring faster response to high-value prospects. After deployment, the client experienced faster response times, improved lead visibility, and better conversion efficiency from previously missed calls. The AI also handled repetitive inquiries effectively, allowing the team to focus on closing deals and complex customer issues. This project strengthened expertise in conversational AI design, voice flow logic, and CRM automation, while reinforcing how to balance automation with natural, human-like interaction in real business environments.
