I fix WordPress sites that used to work. Broken layouts, PHP errors after an update, plugin conflicts, slow pages.
Front-end developer in Tokyo. Sixteen years of hand-written code, fifteen fully remote, never a missed deadline. Most of it was done under agencies, so my name is not on the sites - instead of a client list, read my code.
WHAT I FIX
Broken layouts and responsive breakpoints. PHP notices, warnings and fatal errors at template level. Plugin and theme conflicts after an update. Theme customization: header, footer, archive, single, custom post types. Front-end speed: heavy images, render-blocking CSS and JS.
HOW I WORK
Staging copy first when one exists. Edits go in a child theme, so a theme update will not erase them. You get a short note on the cause.
WHAT I DO NOT DO
Servers and DNS. Node, Python or Laravel back-ends. E-commerce or membership logic at database level. Headless WordPress. Malware removal. Design itself.

Most of my production work is under NDA - I build for agencies as their silent supplier. So instead of screenshots you cannot verify: two WordPress plugins of mine passed WordPress.org's official review. You can read my code before you hire me.
I run a small web company in Japan. 16 years, remote only, never a missed deadline. Hand-coded HTML, SCSS and vanilla JavaScript from Figma/PSD/XD, plus WordPress themes, custom post types and fixes. No page builder, no framework lock-in.
I also localize sites and games into Japanese.
I do not take design, Movable Type, HubSpot or back-end work.

Can you fix it without touching my live site?
Yes, whenever a staging environment exists. I work there first, show you the result, and only then push it live. If there is no staging copy, I take a full backup before I touch anything and tell you exactly which files I changed.
I do not know what is actually wrong. Can you still help?
Yes. Send me the URL, a screenshot or a short screen recording, and the browser and device you saw it on. I will find the cause and tell you which package covers it before you order. That diagnosis costs you nothing.
Do you work with Elementor, WPBakery or Divi?
At CSS and layout level, yes. I can fix spacing, alignment, responsive behaviour and styling on builder pages. Rebuilding the page structure inside the builder itself is not what I do, and a page builder site is usually faster to fix at CSS level anyway.
My site was hacked. Can you clean it?
No. Malware removal and hacked-site recovery are not in my range, and a half-done cleanup is worse than none. Please use a security specialist first. Once the site is clean, I am happy to repair whatever broke during the cleanup.
Can you make my site faster?
Front-end only. I compress images, remove render-blocking CSS and JS, and strip assets the page does not use. I report the PageSpeed Insights score before and after, with the items I changed listed. I do not promise a specific score - hosting and third-party scripts are outside my control.
What time zone are you in, and how fast do you reply?
Japan Standard Time, UTC+9. I reply within 12 hours on weekdays. My working hours overlap with the evening in Europe and the morning in North America, so a one-day turnaround across time zones is normal.
