WordPress Migration & Transfer Specialist
Jan 2026 - Present • 8 mos
I help businesses move WordPress websites between hosting providers, domains, cPanel accounts and server environments without unnecessarily putting their website data or functionality at risk. Website migration can be stressful when business owners are concerned about broken pages, missing images, database problems, SSL errors, email disruption, lost URLs or ecommerce functionality failing after the transfer. My work covers the technical aspects of WordPress migration, including website files, databases, URLs, DNS, SSL, redirects, hosting configuration and server compatibility. I work with standard WordPress websites as well as WooCommerce stores, Elementor websites, custom themes, plugins and websites containing custom functionality. During migration, I help address issues such as database connection errors, incorrect URLs, missing media, broken links, mixed-content warnings, PHP compatibility problems, plugin conflicts and configuration errors. When a domain is changing, I also consider URL structure and redirects so important pages can continue to function correctly. For WooCommerce websites, the migration process requires additional attention because products, variations, customer information, orders, checkout functionality, payment gateways, shipping configuration and transactional emails can all be affected. Post-migration testing helps identify problems before the website is considered ready. I also work with staging-to-live transfers, hosting changes and failed migration attempts where a website does not behave correctly after being moved. The goal is to give website owners a properly transferred and configured website while reducing unnecessary disruption and helping preserve important data, functionality and website structure.
WordPress Malware Removal & Security Specialist
Apr 2025 - Present • 1 yr 5 mos
I help businesses recover when their WordPress website has been hacked, infected with malware, showing unwanted redirects, displaying spam pages, or receiving Google security warnings. A compromised website can be stressful for a business owner, especially when visitors are being redirected, important pages are damaged, the hosting provider has issued a security warning, or the website is at risk of being blacklisted. My work involves investigating the source of the compromise rather than simply removing visible symptoms. I diagnose malicious files, injected code, backdoors, compromised plugins and themes, suspicious administrator accounts, database infections and unauthorized changes. I also handle Japanese SEO spam, pharmaceutical spam, Chinese spam, malicious redirects, phishing pages and other common signs of website compromise. After identifying the problem, I perform malware cleanup, infected-file removal, database cleanup and security troubleshooting. Where appropriate, I review vulnerabilities that may have allowed the infection to occur and apply security hardening, firewall configuration, access protection, updates and backup recommendations. I also help investigate recurring malware infections where a website becomes compromised again after an initial cleanup. Post-cleanup checks are performed to identify remaining suspicious files, redirects, spam content or security weaknesses. The goal is to help website owners regain control, restore normal functionality and have greater confidence in the security of their website. Rather than treating only the symptoms, the focus is on understanding the compromise, cleaning the affected environment and strengthening the website against future security problems.
Google Ads & PPC Specialist
May 2024 - Present • 2 yrs 4 mos
I help businesses use Google Ads and PPC advertising to reach potential customers who are actively searching for their products or services. Many business owners experience the frustration of spending money on advertising while receiving expensive clicks, irrelevant traffic, low CTR, few enquiries or insufficient sales. My work focuses on connecting advertising activity with measurable business goals. I set up, manage and optimize Google Ads and Google AdWords campaigns for service businesses, websites and ecommerce stores. Campaign work includes Search, Shopping and Performance Max, depending on the business model and advertising requirements. My process involves understanding the website, products or services, target locations and customer intent before developing the campaign structure. I work with keyword research, high-intent search terms, negative keywords, ad groups, responsive search ads, audience targeting, location targeting, bidding strategies, budgets and campaign organization. For ecommerce and WooCommerce businesses, I focus on advertising structures designed around product visibility, store traffic, purchases and sales. For service businesses, campaigns can be structured around qualified leads, phone calls, bookings and enquiries. I also analyze existing campaigns where businesses are experiencing high CPC, low CTR, irrelevant search terms, wasted ad spend or poor conversion performance. Search-term analysis and campaign performance data can help identify areas requiring refinement. Conversion measurement is an important part of the process. Where required, I work with Google Ads conversion tracking, Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to help measure important actions such as forms, calls, bookings, enquiries and purchases. The goal is not simply to generate clicks. The focus is on attracting relevant traffic, understanding campaign performance and giving businesses clearer information for making advertising and growth decisions.
