WORKING WITH ME:
To protect physical materials and guarantee you love the composition, I work with a strict Sketch Approval Gate:
1. Pencil Sketch: We refine the composition and layout. All structural adjustments are made here.
2. Traditional Painting: Once your sketch is approved, I begin the paint process.
3. Digitization & Delivery: Scanned, cleaned, and delivered with minor digital color balancing if needed.

Veelgestelde vragen
How do revisions work with traditional paintings?
Because watercolor and gouache are permanent physical mediums, all structural and layout revisions happen during the initial pencil sketch phase. Once you approve the sketch and painting begins, no layout or compositional redraws can be made. Minor digital color adjustments can be accommodated.
Do I receive the physical painting in the mail?
This gig is 100% digital delivery. You will receive high-resolution, professionally scanned and cleaned digital files (600 DPI) ready for publishing or printing. Physical shipping of original artwork is not included.
Will the illustration work cleanly on my Substack layout?
Yes! You will receive high-resolution transparent PNG files. They sit cleanly on any background color—whether Substack's light or dark mode—without raw paper edges or grey background boxes.
Can I use this for my monetized Substack or blog?
Yes. All standard packages include full rights to publish the illustration in personal projects, Substack posts, and blog articles (including monetized publications). If you need the artwork for retail product packaging, physical merchandise, etc. please select the "Commercial Use License" extra.
Do you use AI or digital painting apps like Procreate?
No. I hand paint every piece traditionally with watercolors or gouache on archival paper. I do not use generative AI or digital filters at any point in the process.
