What information do I need to send before you start?
Send your book title, subtitle, author name, genre, and a short summary. Add the back cover text and your trim size if you have it. If you have ideas or colors in mind, share those too.
Can you use my own image for the cover?
Yes, you can send your own image. I'll check the quality first. If it's too low for print, I'll tell you and suggest a better option or a similar stock image.
Will all copyrights belong to me?
Yes. After final payment, the full rights to the design are yours. Stock images and fonts I use are properly licensed for book use, so you're safe to publish.
What file formats will I receive in the final delivery?
You'll get print-ready PDF, JPG and PNG for the front cover, and an ebook cover file. Need the source file too? Just ask and I can add it
What if I need changes after the book is formatted?
No problem. Send me your edits and I'll update the file. Small fixes are included in your revisions. Bigger changes, like adding new chapters, may need a small extra fee.
Do I need to supply examples that I like?
It's not a must, but it really helps. A few covers you love, or even a Pinterest board, help me understand your taste and get the design right faster.
Which platforms will the files work for?
Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, Kindle, Apple Books, Kobo, and most other platforms. Just tell me where you plan to publish and I'll set the right sizes and specs.
Can you design a full wrap cover with spine and back?
Yes. I'll make the front, spine, and back as one print-ready file. I just need your page count and paper type so the spine width is exact.
How many revisions do I get?
Each package includes a set number of revisions, listed in the package details. I'll keep working with you until you're happy with the look.
How long will it take to get my design?
Most covers are ready in 2 to 4 days, and formatting depends on the book length. If you're in a hurry, message me first and I'll do my best to meet your deadline.
