As an experienced beta reader, I know how easy it is for authors to become too close to their own stories. You know every character, every secret, and every reason behind a decision. Your reader doesn't. That distance is where plot holes, weak chemistry, confusing moments, pacing issues, and underdeveloped characters can hide.
I provide honest, constructive romance beta reading focused on the actual reading experience. I look at character development, emotional connection, romance, pacing, plot consistency, dialogue, tension, and reader engagement.
For beta reader fantasy projects, I also pay attention to world-building and story consistency. With paranormal romance , I examine the supernatural elements alongside the relationship and character arcs. For dark romance , I focus on how the emotional tension, characters, relationships, and darker themes come across to the reader.
I don't believe in feedback that simply says, I loved it. I tell you what worked, what pulled me out of the story, and where your manuscript may need another look.

What does your beta reading service include?
I read your manuscript from a genuine reader’s perspective and provide honest, constructive feedback on character development, romance, chemistry, pacing, plot consistency, dialogue, tension, and overall reader engagement.
Will your feedback be honest?
Absolutely. I believe useful feedback should be honest but constructive. I'll highlight what is working while clearly pointing out areas that may need another look.
Will you rewrite or edit my manuscript?
Beta reading is primarily focused on reader feedback rather than full editing. I'll identify issues that affect the reading experience and explain them clearly so you know what may need attention.
What if English isn't my first language?
That's completely fine. My main focus is the story and overall reader experience, while I can also point out areas where wording or clarity may affect understanding.
