How are your sessions different from school or buxiban English classes?
Schools focus on memorizing grammar rules and scoring well on exams. I focus on real communication. We use your child's favorite books, movies, and TV shows to practice practical, everyday English. It won't feel like a lesson—it feels like chatting with an encouraging big sister!
What if my child gets stuck or feels too shy to speak English?
That is completely normal! While English is our primary language, I speak Chinese and will gently step in to clarify concepts or reassure your child whenever they need a extra boost of comfort.
Do I need to prepare any materials or topics before the lesson?
Not at all! You are paying for 30 minutes of hassle-free practice. I handle all the topic planning, conversation prompts, and flow. You can relax knowing your child is getting active, guided practice without any extra effort on your end.
How are parents involved in the learning process?
I love keeping parents in the loop! I provide brief updates after our sessions detailing what we talked about and new vocabulary introduced, making it easy for you to follow their progress and celebrate their growth at home.
What age group do you work with, and do they need prior English knowledge?
I specialize in children between the ages of 6 to 12. Whether your child is just starting to piece sentences together or already has a basic foundation, I adapt the conversation speed, vocabulary, and topics directly to their level and interests.
