I build small Python tools that take a boring, repeating job off your desk.
Most of my work looks like this: you have data in one shape - PDFs, a CRM export, a folder of Excel files, a supplier's website - and you need it in another shape every week, without doing it by hand. I write the script that does it, and you run it yourself.
Every time you get working code, a plain README, a test run on YOUR real files before we finish, and a clear list of what the script does and does not handle.
I also work in mining geology and teach Micromine, so drillhole and assay data is familiar ground.
