Veelgestelde vragen
What's actually included in GoHighLevel's AI Employee bundle, and what needs configuring?
The bundle packages GHL's AI features (Conversation AI, Voice AI, Content AI, Workflow AI Assistant, and Reviews AI depending on your plan) into one subscription — but enabling the bundle doesn't configure anything.
How does Voice AI actually handle a call — does it sound robotic?
Modern Voice AI (GHL's native, or via Vapi/Bland/Retell for more customization) uses natural conversational speech, not text-to-speech robotic delivery. It responds dynamically to what the caller says rather than following a rigid phone-tree script.
What can AI image recognition actually do in a GHL workflow — what's a real use case?
Practical examples: a home services company where customers text a photo of a broken appliance and AI identifies the likely issue/part before dispatching; a roofing business where submitted damage photos get pre-assessed for severity
What is RCS messaging, and is it worth setting up over regular SMS?
RCS (Rich Communication Services) is the upgrade to SMS — supporting images, carousels, tappable quick-reply buttons, verified sender branding with your logo, and read receipts, displaying natively in the messaging app without requiring any app install.
Can the Voice AI actually book appointments, or just take messages?
It can book directly — I configure calendar integration so the AI checks real availability during the call, offers open slots, confirms the booking, and writes the appointment into GHL and the caller's calendar, sending confirmation via SMS afterward. It's not limited to message-taking if properly c
What do you need from me to start — and how long before this is live?
Admin access to your GHL account with the AI Employee bundle active (or I'll advise on the right plan), your common call scenarios/FAQ content for training, your brand voice preferences, and API keys if using external voice providers.
