Aug 2013 - Present12 yrs 9 mos

Since 2013, I have been supporting grassroots organizations and non-profit organizations as a founding member, working in defense of women’s rights and guarantees across Colombian territories. My work has focused on the design, formulation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of social and community-based projects, as well as conducting community diagnostics and participatory processes. I have also contributed to cross-cutting educational initiatives related to emotional education, environmental education, financial literacy, productive education, agroforestry systems, and agricultural development, primarily working with rural women, women victims of violence, peasant women, and vulnerable communities. Through these experiences, I have strengthened key professional and personal skills such as empathy, teamwork, leadership, community engagement, project management, self-management, conflict resolution, effective communication, participatory facilitation, social innovation, strategic planning, capacity building, and intercultural collaboration. These processes have also enhanced my ability to work with diverse populations, foster community empowerment, and promote sustainable and inclusive development initiatives.

Docente

Universidad Nacional de Colombia • Parttime

Mar 2014 - Dec 20195 yrs 9 mos

During my professional experience at Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia, one of my main achievements was strengthening virtual education processes and academic support within a distance learning university. I worked as a practical training tutor for the School of Agricultural, Livestock and Environmental Sciences (ECAPMA), providing guidance in both practical components and virtual learning processes for programs such as agronomy, agroforestry, agricultural production, and related fields. Throughout this experience, I contributed to the development and implementation of digital tools, computer applications, and virtual teaching strategies, significantly strengthening my skills in ICT management, virtual platforms, and technological tools for education. In addition, I supported the academic and professional development of more than 200 to 300 students during nearly four years of institutional work, contributing to the enhancement of their technical, academic, and professional capacities. I also participated as an advisor in the development of more than 10 undergraduate thesis projects related to the agricultural, livestock, and environmental sectors, supporting applied research processes and academic project formulation.
