As an Instructional Design Intern at KPMG India, I contributed to the design and development of engaging corporate learning solutions that enhanced learner engagement and knowledge retention. Working within the Business Excellence team, I collaborated on creating interactive, learner-centric content for professional audiences using modern instructional design principles and digital learning technologies. My responsibilities included designing and developing hands-on Excel e-learning modules, interactive learning experiences, storyboards, corporate training presentations, knowledge assessments, and practical learning activities. Rather than creating simple tutorials, I developed structured learning content that combined real-world business scenarios, guided practice, realistic datasets, and assessments to help learners build practical skills. I worked extensively with Articulate Rise 360, Articulate Storyline 360, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Clipchamp, and AI-powered tools to create modern and engaging learning experiences. Some of the key learning modules I contributed to included: • Financial Analytics – Hands-on with Excel • Scenario Modeling in Excel for Decision Making • Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) Analysis • RFM Analysis for Customer Segmentation • A/B Testing Fundamentals • Financial Ratios, Trend & Variance Analysis • Data Cleaning & Missing Data Handling • Customer Segmentation using Excel • Advanced Excel Functions & Formulas • Conditional Formatting, Sorting & Filtering In addition to content development, I designed assessments, practical exercises, learning activities, and professional training presentations that aligned with learning objectives and improved learner engagement. This experience strengthened my expertise in instructional design, e-learning development, corporate training content, Excel-based learning solutions, presentation design, and AI-assisted content creation. It taught me the importance of creating learning experiences.
