Constructed languages make an invaluable addition to the world-building of any creative work. The most popular sci-fi and fantasy novels, video games, TV shows, & movies are often famous for their constructed languages (all with different levels of development).
Often, the writers and authors of these works are interested in languages already (like J.R.R. Tolkien). Some created a few phrases and poems that were the only source material of the constructed languages (like George R.R. Martin's High Valerian phrases in his Song of Ice and Fire series). Many others outsourced to linguists who could make a believable constructed language (like Na'vi in James Cameron's "Avatar" films and High Valerian in HBO's Game of Thrones - although it was based on Martin's original phrases).
