I worked with The Black In HR as a website designer, shaping a digital presence that reflects both the organization’s voice and its impact. The role focused on building a clean, intuitive Wix Studio site that speaks directly to HR professionals while staying accessible to a broader audience. Every page was designed with intention, from layout structure to user flow, ensuring visitors could quickly find resources, events, and community initiatives. One of the key wins was transforming a scattered content structure into a cohesive experience. Navigation became simpler, load times improved, and mobile responsiveness was fully optimized. This led to longer session durations and stronger engagement across core pages. I also integrated custom features using Velo to support event signups and dynamic content updates, giving the team more flexibility without needing constant redesigns. Brand consistency was another priority. Typography, color systems, and imagery were refined to create a polished and recognizable identity across the site. The result is a platform that not only looks professional but also builds trust with visitors and partners. Working closely with stakeholders, I translated ideas into practical design solutions, balancing creativity with functionality. The outcome is a site that supports growth, strengthens community connection, and positions The Black In HR as a credible and forward thinking voice in the industry.
