I'm a full-stack developer in Surrey, BC. By day I build data pipelines and Power BI reports on a government corporate data platform — Microsoft Fabric, Postgres, Oracle, GraphQL APIs. Since 2017 I've also built API integrations for startups and small businesses. What I'm best at is the connector nobody sells off the shelf: POS to accounting with real line-item detail, Airtable into Power BI, legacy JasperReports rebuilt in Power BI, Keycloak and AWS Cognito authentication. Full-stack developer on a BC government ministry's corporate data platform, building and operating data and web applications. - Sole full-stack developer on my team: I prioritise the backlog, assign work, and mentor other team members. - Current project: onboarding source systems into Microsoft Fabric, federating that data, and converting a legacy JasperReports estate into Power BI. Provisioning downstream access via Power BI workspaces, Fabric workspaces and GraphQL APIs. - Working daily across Postgres/PostGIS, Oracle and DynamoDB via CLI and APIs for data extraction, transformation and serving. - Migrated a MERN application's authentication from Keycloak to AWS Cognito. - Deploying and operating containerised applications on OpenShift, via both web console and CLI: releases, troubleshooting, and log investigation. - Building front ends in React (TypeScript) and Vue with GraphQL, mobile-first. - Managing CI/CD: Jenkins for legacy application support, GitHub Actions for container-based deployments to OpenShift and AWS. - Agile delivery on three-week sprints, using a service-design approach to legacy modernisation.
