Created and developed RetroBat Game List Comparator (RBGLC), an independent software project dedicated to video game database analysis and game list management. The project focuses on scanning and comparing game lists, validating gamelist.xml files, identifying inconsistencies and handling platform-specific file extensions. It also involves working with frontend directory structures, game metadata and custom configuration files. Through this work, I have developed practical knowledge of video game metadata, XML structures, emulator configurations and technical documentation. This experience is also relevant to video game localization, as understanding game databases, platform structures, naming conventions and multilingual metadata is important when adapting and managing game content across different languages. The project combines software development, data analysis, troubleshooting and a strong interest in video game ecosystems.

Developed and maintained an independent open-source fork of Gamelist Translator, a project dedicated to video game localization and multilingual game metadata management. Developed in PowerShell, the tool translates game descriptions in EmulationStation and RetroBat gamelist.xml files using Google Translate or DeepL, with interactive translation service and language selection. Key features include automatic source language detection, XML validation, UTF-8/BOM handling, automatic backups, translation caching, HTTP error handling and automatic progress recovery after interruptions. The project demonstrates practical experience in localization workflows, translation technologies, XML processing, automation and video game metadata management.
