Do I need a Microsoft licence to use Copilot Studio?
Yes, you need a Microsoft 365 tenant and either a Copilot Studio standalone licence or a Power Platform licence that includes it. If you're unsure what you need, message me before ordering and I'll point you in the right direction — I won't let you pay for something you can't use.
How do you access my Microsoft environment to build the bot?
I'll ask you to add me as a guest user in your Microsoft 365 tenant with the necessary permissions. You stay in full control — I only access what's needed for the build, and you can remove my access immediately after delivery.
Can you connect the chatbot to my SharePoint, website or other data sources?
Yes. I can connect your bot to SharePoint document libraries, knowledge bases, Dataverse tables, external websites, or REST APIs. SharePoint and web integration is included from the Standard package. Custom API connections are available in the Premium package.
Where can the chatbot be deployed?
Copilot Studio bots can be deployed to Microsoft Teams, your website (as an embedded chat widget), SharePoint pages, and other Microsoft 365 surfaces. I'll deploy to whichever channel you need — just let me know when you place your order.
Will I be able to edit or update the bot myself after delivery?
Absolutely. Copilot Studio is a low-code platform designed so non-developers can manage it. I'll hand over full ownership and provide a brief walkthrough so your team can add topics, update answers, and maintain the bot without needing a developer.
What if my project is more complex than the packages listed?
No problem — message me with your requirements before ordering and I'll put together a custom offer that fits your exact needs and budget. I regularly work on large-scale enterprise bots that go beyond standard packages.
How many topics or questions can the chatbot handle?
The Basic package includes up to 5 topics, Standard covers up to 15, and Premium is unlimited. A "topic" is a distinct conversation path — for example, "check order status" or "book a meeting" would each be one topic. If you're unsure how many you need, message me and I'll help you scope it out.
What information do you need from me to get started?
Once you place your order, I'll send you a short requirements form asking about the bot's purpose, target users, topics to cover, data sources, and deployment channel. The more detail you provide upfront, the faster I can deliver. You don't need to be technical — I'll guide you through it.
Do you offer support after the bot is delivered?
Yes. All packages include at least one round of revisions after delivery. The Premium package includes 7 days of post-delivery support. For ongoing maintenance or monthly support retainers, message me and we can arrange a separate agreement.
